Linen is a natural fabrics known and used for a hundreds years. It is characterized by extraordinary softness and durability, and each subsequent wash refines the fabric. It is gentle for the skin, antibacterial, antiallergic and shows high hygroscopicity (absorbs moisture while maintaining dry). Thanks to its thermoregulatory properties, linen works well in both winter and summer. Flax tolerates temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius, so it can be ironed safely. Flax should not be bleached with chlorine-containing agents.
